An update on blog format

Alright, so I know I didn't really post anything yesterday, and I do apologize, but I was super tired after playing D&D until 3am on Saturday night (Sunday morning?). Anyway, this isn't a daily post, this is me talking about how I want the blog to look from now on, as I believe I finally have an idea of how I want this run, because, as you may have noticed, my formatting is all over the place.

Down to business now. I will continue to be making daily posts, or at least as daily as I'm capable of, given my massive ADD. The format of these posts will be similar to what it has been the last couple of days, meaning, I will write a short paragraph most likely on something funny or interesting I did or saw that day, but most likely not more than a paragraph, maybe two on a really busy or exciting day. After that, each post will have a list of any videos I may have put out that day. This seems to be the format that works best for me and the blog.

Another thing I want to do is add reviews. Basically, whenever I finish a game I will make a post about my thoughts and feelings of the game and how much I liked or disliked it. Obviously my reviews will be skewed to my opinion, as I have strong opinions on most developers and series, regardless if they change, my opinion rarely does, but I'll try to be fair. I will try to do reviews for any game I finish, recorded or not, but I may not do one for every unrecorded game, because I'm lazy, but EVERY recorded game WILL get a review, even if my review is terribly written. I might try to add a score system or something as well, we'll see how I feel after I write my first review.

I think that's about all I have to mention right now, hopefully things will look a bit nicer with consistent formatting and topics. Also, real quick, may not be videos today, didn't get a chance to record this weekend and I'm all out of recorded stuff. I'll record today, but it may be too late after editing to get something up, just an FYI.

I should stop writing now because I'm in a calculus lecture and I should probably pay attemtion otherwise I'm gonna fail. Also, sorry for any spelling mistakes in this, my phone doesn't have spell check. Bye now!

Friday, February 24th, 2012 - Almost home

So, when you're reading this I'm probably just landing in Toronto (I'm writing this at 10am but not posting it till later to make sure I don't forget).  I know that doesn't really make sense, make a blog post about my day before my day has even started, but whatever, I don't really care, I barely talk about my day on these anymore because I suck at trying to put thoughts into words.  Especially interesting words.  Sometimes I have good days and am able to write a lot and have some interesting things to say, but not most days.  And that is why I basically turned my blog into a YouTube notification feed for my videos.

It's not like I don't do anything interesting, I mean, not all my days are interesting, but even when I have a day that would be a good read, I am incapable of putting it into words.  I mean, I guess that's why I'm an engineer, we only have to write one paper over our entire four years, and it was only 2 pages double spaced.  I suck at English and creative writing, even though it interests me.  I wish I was a better creative writer.  I guess LP commentary is kind of like very unedited and messy creative writing if you think of it like that.

Anyway, I think I've bored you long enough with my woes and inability to write, so here are today's Mass Effect episodes.  Also, tomorrow I will be going back to posting at normal times, the videos have been late cause I've been on west coast time for a week.

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 - Woops!

Wow, day 2 and I almost forgot.  What a way to start.  It's pretty late right now and I'm a little intoxicated, so this is gonna be shit, but here goes.

Started out at 8:30 like I do almost everyday, I hate waking up early, yet it is the only way I can be productive.  I feel as if when I start late, I always just wake up before my classes, and when I finish I do nothing, with early days I wake up early, complain, get home early, and actually DO work, or record.  Oh, ya, reason I haven't started Bioshock yet is cause yesterday and today I had tests and got home after 9 and had no time to do anything, but tomorrow I should have some time, so maybe videos Saturday.  Wow, that was a tangent.

Um, on topic, not much to say about classes, I think I had 2 lectures today, so that's nice, but not a lot to talk about.  Had a physics test a few hours ago though, think I did pretty well, could've studied harder, but I'm a lazy ass motherfucker.  That is a fact.

I also beat Uplink today, I guess.  Well, I completed the story missions, but you can still keep playing, or start again and compete the story for the other company.  I think that's the "evil" quest line, whereas I tend to go good my first play through of games, I guess I'm not a psychopath like that.  Well, except in GTA/Saints Row, in them I just murder the fuck outta people, but in most games I go good.

I also started watching a show called Californication a couple weeks ago, and just finished season one tonight.  It's a pretty good show, you should check it out.  It's about a writer who has a family but he doesn't really write, but he's a writer.  It's a comedy/drama I guess.
