Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012 - The Return!

Hey guys! I know there's actually a couple of you who read my blog, so first of all I'd like to apologize for being gone for so long. I enjoy writing, but sometimes I get discouraged because I feel like I write poorly, or I just kind of get distracted and forget about the blog since it takes a lot more time than just doing videos.  I really do want to get back into doing these, though, so I can talk about a lot of the stuff that I can't fit into my videos, or I just don't think about while recording. I don't know how much I'll write today, but I plan for the format of these to go back to the way it was before after this post, a paragraph or two of something interesting, followed by video links and any information that may pertain to YouTube (i.e. whether I record or not, new series's, no-video days, etc.).

Today the main things I want to say are that I'm back, and I hope you guys are enjoying Minecraft Hardcore so far. I've been getting some good feedback, and plan on recording life 3 this afternoon. I have some ideas on how to possibly make it a little more interesting or exciting, but I'll talk about those in the life 3 videos. They should go up probably the 4th (tomorrow at time of writing) as long as I do actually get them recorded. Mass Effect 2 is slowing down a lot as some may have noticed, but I still will finish it, viewers or not, as I still need to play through it to get my evil character ready for Mass Effect 3, and maybe in the future people will go back and watch it, and I want it to be completed.

I also have been upgrading most of my computer peripherals over the last couple weeks (monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset), although the headset was in January. I tried to make a video showing some stuff off yesterday, and after 2 failed recordings of YouTube messing things up, I decided to get a proper webcam recorder, and then I got busy and had no time to do the video. I'll do that today as well, probably before Minecraft life 3.

This turned out pretty long, which is to be expected after 2 weeks off I guess, but I'm going to publish it now, even though it's only 1pm, but I don't really want to be tempted to add to it, because it doesn't need to be any longer. So, hopefully I will talk to you tomorrow.

Monday, March 12th, 2012 - Indefinite Hiatus

So, due to some problems in my life I am going to have to take a break from things such as YouTube, gaming, and blogging. I apologize for this inconvenience, and I will try to be back as soon as possible, but be warned that I have no idea when as soon as possible is. It may be a week, it may be a year, it may be never. I made a video about this on my YouTube and I explained some things in more detail.

Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 - Hiatus

Ok, so I know this is very ill timed; however, I will most likely not be posting any videos this week until Saturday. I have a test Wednesday and Thursday as well as Saturday, so tonight and Friday I will be studying, and every other day I will be getting home at 9pm. I do apologize for this, and I would like to just say that Mass Effect 2 IS STILL COMING. I know it was planned to be started weeks ago, and I'm sorry for that as well. My Mass Effect 1 review might come out some time this week though if I get a chance, as I can do that at school, or even in class (which is where I currently writing this).  I will most likely be recording Saturday when i get home from my test, around 1pm, and will be putting up videos in the evening.

Once again I'm sorry about my ridiculously irregular schedule, but it's hardly my fault. Blame engineering and its constant tests! I might try to make blog posts during the week, but don't hold your breath, as there are still so many things I don't have control over. See ya'll soon! (hopefully)

New Side Bar Addon

So, last night I was messing around with some stuff for a while and decided to add a new box on the sidebar. It shows what games I am currently playing, both on and off camera, and I will try to keep it updated as much as possible, which isn't a hard task, but still requires more work than not doing it.  Anyway! That's it for this post, I just wanted to inform you of my new change.

An update on blog format

Alright, so I know I didn't really post anything yesterday, and I do apologize, but I was super tired after playing D&D until 3am on Saturday night (Sunday morning?). Anyway, this isn't a daily post, this is me talking about how I want the blog to look from now on, as I believe I finally have an idea of how I want this run, because, as you may have noticed, my formatting is all over the place.

Down to business now. I will continue to be making daily posts, or at least as daily as I'm capable of, given my massive ADD. The format of these posts will be similar to what it has been the last couple of days, meaning, I will write a short paragraph most likely on something funny or interesting I did or saw that day, but most likely not more than a paragraph, maybe two on a really busy or exciting day. After that, each post will have a list of any videos I may have put out that day. This seems to be the format that works best for me and the blog.

Another thing I want to do is add reviews. Basically, whenever I finish a game I will make a post about my thoughts and feelings of the game and how much I liked or disliked it. Obviously my reviews will be skewed to my opinion, as I have strong opinions on most developers and series, regardless if they change, my opinion rarely does, but I'll try to be fair. I will try to do reviews for any game I finish, recorded or not, but I may not do one for every unrecorded game, because I'm lazy, but EVERY recorded game WILL get a review, even if my review is terribly written. I might try to add a score system or something as well, we'll see how I feel after I write my first review.

I think that's about all I have to mention right now, hopefully things will look a bit nicer with consistent formatting and topics. Also, real quick, may not be videos today, didn't get a chance to record this weekend and I'm all out of recorded stuff. I'll record today, but it may be too late after editing to get something up, just an FYI.

I should stop writing now because I'm in a calculus lecture and I should probably pay attemtion otherwise I'm gonna fail. Also, sorry for any spelling mistakes in this, my phone doesn't have spell check. Bye now!

Sup guys, was thinking of doing something with this, maybe making it like my old blog at sect4.org that got taken down due to having a sysadmin in university with no time to fix shit.  Basically I would talk about stuff that happens. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't. I don't really care.  I started this to get an adsense account, but Google says my page doesn't have enough content, So I'm gonna CONTENT ALL OVER THE PLACE.  First real post tonight, let's see how long I can keep this up.  Also go sub to my YouTube.
