Saturday, March 10th, 2012 - I'm Back!

What is up guys! I know it's been almost a week since my last post and I do apologize, but, I'm back now! I had a rather uneventful week filled primarily with studying and doing work. Like I mentioned last week some time, it's engineering prank month, so one day a guy came in playing the trumpet, stripped to his boxers, then ran away. It was pretty funny. Someone also made a giant penis out of like cloth or something and managed to stick it to the roof of the main cafeteria. Did I mention the ceiling is like 30 feet high? God, I love engineers. We're so obnoxious, it's awesome.

In video news, after having 4 tests this week and having my brain destroyed by science, I was finally able to start up Mass Effect 2. I did about an hour and a half of recording and got enough videos for today and tomorrow. I'll be doing some more tomorrow, so there should be videos every day this week if I manage to not procrastinate like a beast as usual.  Enough words though, here's Mass Effect 2!

What is up guys? Today was my last day in Whistler and that makes me sad cause it was an awesome vacation. Snowboarding is fun. Monday, February 6th, 2012 - I don't even

Well, here I am, another day, another post.  At some point in my internet life I recall having interesting opinions and things to talk about on my blogs, but now I really can't think of any.  I tend to get stuck in talking about my day, which sometimes is interesting, but for the most part is pretty mundane.  I talked at one point about suggesting topics of discussion, but I still don't have enough users for that.

I really don't know what to talk about, as I didn't do anything today.  I went to 2 classes, barely payed attention, then got home at 11 and did nothing.  Oh, and I completely forgot to record, got busy doing some other things, sorry!  I'm really terrible at this whole being regular thing.  You think I'd get better at it now that I have incentive, but nope.

I really don't have anything else, so this is gonna be a short post, so, until next time, keep on keeping on.

Sunday, February 5th, 2012 - Superbowl!

What's up guys?  Oh, you can't answer cause this isn't a conversation?  Oh, well I guess that makes sense.  In other news, today was Sunday, so I did what I do every Sunday: wake up late, go snowboarding, catch up on homework, eat pizza, watch football.  It was a good day.

Like I said, I went snowboarding today.  I live just outside Toronto, so there aren't really any mountains really close by.  There's a few bigger resorts a couple hours away (think the nearest is 2h, with some nicer ones ~3h), but for those you have to make a day trip, whereas I just like to go for a few hours, so I head up to this little hill ~20m from home.  It's not great if you wanna ride, but it has a decent terrain park, which I spent a few hours in today.  Finished the day off wit a good ol' face plant after a failed 360 as well, so that was lovely. 

Came home and finished up the rest of the homework I was supposed to do yesterday but procrastinated.  I was planning on doing a little bit of recording as well but ran out of time.  Promise I'll do some tomorrow, as I get home at 11am on Mondays (best day).  So, that'll mean there should be vids late Monday next.

Super Bowl is currently on, ~9m left in the 3rd.  I sometimes watch football seriously, but only really with friends that are also into football.  When I'm alone I tend to just play it in the background while I do other stuff (like this).  Current score is 17-9 for the Pats, which makes me sad cause I'm going for the Giants, even though they beat out the Packers (my favourite team).  Dammit, blogger is telling me I spelled favourite wrong.  SCREW YOU I'M CANADIAN I PUT U'S IN WORDS!  Anyway...

I guess I can say something about the half time show as well.  It was a disgrace against music.  Seriously.  LMFAO and Nicki Minaj should not be considered musical artists, they are talentless losers who get other people to write shit for them and pay them millions to be the face of terrible music.  My god, they should not have been allowed into the Super Bowl.  Oh! Giants scored! Still down 17-12 though...  Back to complaining about music though, well, I guess that's it.  I don't really know much about Madonna so I can't really complain about her too much.

HOLY FUCK.  I just saw a commercial for Wrath of the Titans.  That shit looks sick, I want to see that immediately.  Wow, I am horrible at keeping a focus.  Whatever, I think I'm about out of words to say, so, until next time, <I should make a catch phrase sometime>.

Saturday, February 4th, 2012 - Picture!

Another day gone by.  Another day closer to the end of the semester, that's all today really was.  Spent the whole day reading my textbooks to catch up for work I missed last week due to tests.  Put up another BioShock video here and I'll probably throw up one more right now (which should be posted in ~2-3h).  Didn't do any playing of BioShock today, was just too tired as I stayed up till 3am last night and woke up at 9am today.  Will do some tomorrow after I finish off the rest of my work, though.

I need to pick a topic for these things or something, rather than just talking about my day.  I mean, that shit seems kinda gay to begin with, and with the fact I do absolutely nothing interesting to read about during my day makes for some boring blog posts.  I need topics to discuss, but in order to find good topics I would need viewer suggestions, but in order to get more viewers to make suggestions I would need good topics.  Oh, the woes of an unpopular blogger.

I guess I can talk about the mangled printer beside me.  My dad broke his printer, and couldn't figure out what was wrong (it ended up being a gear that had come off it's axle) and gave it to me to dismantle, cause I have fun screwing with anything electronic.  I am a computer engineer, after all.  Took the whole thing apart, every single screw I could find and took out every single component.  That's a picture of it in it's broken up glory ---->

Hmm.  I like how that inline picture with words next to  it looks.  I need to add more pictures to these in future.  I wish the camera on my phone worked, but I screwed it up.  Put on custom firmware that didn't have camera drivers, and now there's an updated version WITH camera drivers, but for some reason my computer can't see my phone when I plug it in anymore.  If anyone has a Sony Ericson Xperia X10 and is using custom Gingerbread OS and knows why my PC can't see my phone, please help!

With that though, I think that is all for me today, I am super tired and probably going to sleep very soon.  So, until tomorrow, <I still don't have a catch phrase>.

Friday, February 3rd, 2012 - It's Friday, Friday

10:00AM: Alright, since writing one post at the end of the day went so poorly yesterday, I think I'm gonna keep trying timeline format. I'm going to try to set my bare minimum goal to get a post out every day of February, and then just keep going as long as I can after that.  That sounds like a good plan, right?  Good.  I'm writing this in my physics lecture, extremely bored, as usual. I want to skip the rest of my classes, but I feel so bad when I do, plus I get super paranoid that my parents are gonna find out. Well, my mom at least. Dad probably wouldn't care, mom would flip a shit. And that is basically the only reason I go to class.

12:00PM:  Well, I didn't so much go to my calculus lecture because I'm  understanding everything in it right now, but I did go to my economics lecture which I am currently sitting it.  This class sucks, I hate economics.  I prefer working on things that are real or something that you can prove, like math and physics, subjects where there is a clear cut right and wrong, unlike economics which is almost all theory and "what-if" scenarios.  Not my kind of thing.

1:00PM:  I just spent the last 20m listening to Korean commentary of random games for no real reason.  I do very few things that make coherent sense.

5:00PM:  Just finished recording a little over an hour of BioShock, I'm gonna put a couple of those videos up now, as well as post this blog now, since all I plan on doing for the rest of the night is watching TV or doing a little more recording's, which doesn't make for very much to talk about on a blog.  

Wednesday, February 1st, 2012 - Getting Started

8:00AM:  Alright guys, before I start I should explain some stuff.  My name is Drew, but online I go by devilwarier9. I mentioned sect4 in my last post which is my old website which most likely gives you some error, my friend ThePurplePixel over here was my sysadmin, but having started university he moved out and I think he took down the web server when he did, although it's not like it really matters, I barely used the site except for blog posts, which as you can guess I'm now moving here.  The way this will work is much like it did on my old site, I will most likely write the posts a couple paragraphs at a time throughout the day then publish it all at the end of the day.  When I do things this way I tend to have longer posts, if not nonsensical.  My goal is one post every weekday and one on weekends, some posts will be longer, some won't, you're gonna have to deal with it.

8:30AM:  A little background on me real quick is in order I guess, like I said my name is Drew, I am 18 and going to university for Computer Engineering and am currently in my freshman year.  I love physics and math which is very abnormal, but I don't give a fuck.  I'm also very profane, but I still don't give a fuck.  I love android and windows and hate everything Apple.  Love almost any meat, hate almost any vegetable.  I'm super underweight at 125lb's and 6'1" tall.  I live in Canada and it's fucking awesome.  I play a lot of video games and sometimes I record them over here.  I think that about does it for me, see you guys in a couple hours when I write the next bit!

9:00AM:  I really need to pay more attention in class.  My prof is talking about trigonometric integration and I'm really not in the mood to listen so I end up just not listening, although today Is probably one of the most important days to listen as I have a test in this class tonight.  Ugh, doing work is so much... work.

10:00AM:  Physics is boring. That's all I got. Also this is probably gonna be the longest post that will ever get posted. So, enjoy it, cause I won't be doing hourly updates every day, shit's a lot of work and I don't have that much to say.

11:00AM:   Drawing for engineers is a bullshit class.  When in life am I going to be forced to draw a perfectly straight and 100% accurate drawing without any rulers or tools? And more-so, if I am, I sure as hell won't be fired if it's not perfect, seriously, they expect so much perfection in freehand drawings.  Bullshit class is bullshit.

12:00PM:  MMMMMmmmmmmm chicken quesadilla and YouTube video's for lunch. I do enjoy this time of day if I do say so.  Also playing some Uplink based on a friends suggestion, it's a very fun game. 

1:00PM: Material sciences sucks. A lot. Never take it unless you have to (which I do). Not much else to say right now.

1:30PM: So, I'm done all my classes for the day.  Great, right?  Not today.  I have a test at 8:30 tonight and driving home takes way more effort than I'm willing to put in (live 30m from campus) so now I just get to sit in the library for the next 7 hours. Greeeeaaaatttt...  I probably won't make another update till after the test cause all I'll be doing for the next SEVEN HOURS will be studying and playing Uplink or watching YouTube videos.  See y'all then!

4:30PM:  SO FUCKING BORED!

5:00PM:  Just got an email from YouTube saying they want to start paying me!  Awesome!  Probably won't make very much as I get very few views, but it'll still be something, so that's pretty cool. Right now I only have the WoW videos ad supported as I have to do each one individually and I doubt anyone will watch my old series's.  I wonder if new videos get automatic ads?  That'd be nice, as I am almost guaranteed to not be at a PC when my video's go up cause I always set it to upload in class or overnight.  I guess we'll find out. 

5:30PM:  Ok, so I went and put monetization up on everything but Psychonauts cause it's a lot of parts, and 1 Borderlands video cause it just won't let me, the option for monetization just doen't show up, and only for that video.  It WOULD be my most popular video (by far), too.  Although I say that like it still gets views, which it doesn't, just has the highest views, and you only get paid for new views, so I guess it doesn't really matter.  If you want to go check out my YouTube RIGHT NOW.  You know, if you want...

8:00PM: I suck at Uplink. It's really fun, but the "file deleted on death" can be very rage inducing at times.

10:30PM:  Just got home after my calculus test.  My god that was a long day.  At least I have a website to vent about my day to now, so that's cool.  In future I'll probably just write a couple paragraphs at the end of the day, rather than this whole timeline thing.  It seems like a nice style, but I just don't do very much in an average day.
